What We Do
Spreading the Gospel
H-I-S supports local churches and pastors so that the people of Nicaragua can hear the Word of God and grow in their faith. We always have a team Pastor on all our trips. We also host many VBS services to share the word with the youth wherever we are working. We believe the word of God can transform lives and give hope to those in need.
Feeding A Community
Our feeding program gives the less fortunate in the local community access to a months worth of food. We currently feed around 300 families a year. We partner with local churches to find those with the most need and we then hand deliver the food allowing us to pray for these families as well. Just 50 dollars a month can feed a family of 4 for one month! Would you please pray what the Lord might have you do to help support our feeding ministry?
Special Projects
Several special projects are under way at any given time. From ensuring Pastor Fernando and Richard have transportation to sponsoring mission trips, to our child sponsorship program, to building churches,homes,basketball courts, or parsonages for pastoral families. What does H-I-S Mission and Outreach mean? We named this ministry H-I-S Mission and Outreach for two reasons. One, this is truly HIS. We are just the vessel he is using to accomplish His work in Nicaragua or wherever he calls us. Also H-I-S stands for Isaiah 6:8 Here I am Send me. I truly do my best to live my life and run this ministry by that one powerful Bible verse. Here I am send me!
